Hello! Hope you all had the loveliest of Christmases :) D and I are having a super low-key week in which long sleep-ins, brunches and otherwise being homebodies (trying new recipes, de-cluttering etc) feature quite heavily, so I have very little to report in the way of ... anything, really!
So I know that pretty much everyone who visits Paris seems to end up posting photographs of Merci somewhere or other in blogland, and it turns out that I am no exception. Personally, I love any store that is happy for people to take photos, although I did get in mild trouble for taking a picture of a shoe display ... I guess in case I was going to run off and copy the designs or something ... but anyway. We had lots of fun looking at their cool and quirky things, and saw Helena Bonham Carter. Aaand that's pretty much our visit to Merci in a nutshell!

Hi Natasha, I never got to Merci when I went to Paris this year so I am the minority! I love your pics- great colours what a photogenic shop xxCorrina- PS did Santa bring you 'What Katie Ate"? Would you believe I got an old typewriter as one of my gifts- something I always wanted.
ReplyDeleteHi Corrina,
DeleteNo, Santa did not bring me What Katie Ate, he brought me French Essence instead! I have a feeling that WKA will be making an appearance at some stage, though ... maybe for my birthday in a couple of months. I made a big show of going to buy it in Dymocks yesterday in order to test D and he had a minor meltdown, so I figure it is on the cards :)
Oh and old typewriter is so cool! And so photogenic!
